sdandrea1 Senior golf is not how I pictured it. I thought it would be a bunch of short hitters who chip and putt lights out. Like Rex. Instead, a lot of them hit longer than I would have thought, chip like they are wearing oven mitts, and are shaky putters.
If you can get a good putter on your team, man, he's a catch. Every once in a while he gets the team a par for net birdie.
I'm finding out in the team games is that par 3s are where the points are gained by the C and D players. Last time our D player had a birdie for net ace and a couple of pars for net birdies. The par 5s OTOH, not so bueno. Three of our 5s are well bunkered, and it's hard for the older guys to get through those holes without finding bunkers. Honestly, stop trying to make up ground with your 3 wood; get on or next to the green in 4 conservative shots! You get a stroke for chrissake!
@Subsonic This is your future. 🙂
