82 at Sandridge (Lakes Course) in Vero Fl. on Saturday. My brother in law and I got paired with a twosome. It was one guys second time on a golf course and the other guy was inexperienced as well. Both were young guys in their 20's.
We saw something we'd never seen before. The more experienced guy hit a great drive down the middle. Then proceeded to top three shots in a row. Almost trick shot tops.
The ball only went a few inches and if he tried he probably could've caught them if in his hand. Pretty hard to do when you think about it. lol
Tried to give them some much needed unsolicited tips which helped slightly. The course was crowded so we couldn't jump ahead. Seemed like the round took forever, but we actually went around in 4 hours.
We told the guys we have to keep up with the group ahead and they were pretty good about picking up after too many shots. We tried to encourage them and advised getting a lesson.
After slicing and topping most of the round the beginner after strengthening his grip and closing the face at address actually hit two nice drives with a draw. Success!
