Played nine at the local muni. About a one-club wind, temps in the high 70's. Pretty nice.
Got into the green side bunker pin high in two shots on the par 5 first hole, then took 7 shots to get down from there. 😶
Went even par for the rest of the round, including GIR's on the last five holes in a row, and six of the last seven. I don't remember ever hitting so many perfect darts with my irons. I don't know whether I should be happy about the fact that I ended the round with five straight literal tap-in pars, or upset that I didn't make any birdie putts. I was within 6 feet on hole five, 15 feet on hole six and hole seven, and I threw darts to about ten feet on eight and nine. Missed them all.
Oh, well. Ended up breaking 40 after starting with a quadruple bogey, so I guess I should be happy.
