Oh yeah, here's another funny from yesterday's round. This course has tees for #10 and #13 side by side. #10 actually crosses a creek left, but the unknowing see the big wide open fairway on #13 and think that is where they go. Before the outing began, the Pro made sure to announce very clearly to FOLLOW THE SIGNS, #10 GOES LEFT AND IT IS NOT VISUALLY OBVIOUS. DO NOT GO RIGHT, THAT IS #13.
Anyway, we get to #10 tee, and we know to go left. The group in front of us just left the tee. Two carts pull up, two women and two men. They said they mistakenly played #13 and asked where #11 was so they could get back in position. So we tell them, and the proceed across the bridge and behind the trees left to where #11 is.
The group ahead of us finally clears out. Three of us hit our tee shots. As #4 gets ready, the two ladies come out from behind the trees and saunter to the #10 ladies tee box and tee off. I think the men just gave themselves perfect drives, tossed balls in the fairway and hit from there.
I wanted to go yell at them, but the tournament organizer was in our group and he had to play nice. So we just let them squeeze in. Two of them quit by #13 anyway, there must have been a strange something going on in that group.
