Yesterday, down to Largs with some friends, one of whom is a member there. Balls in the air and it's him and DM versus me and PC. Some decent golf - even from me - with never more than 2 in it to either side. 2 down with 3 to play and turned it around for a 1 up win. Dinner in a local pub and the long(ish) drive home ... great day out.
Unseasonably warm for Scotland (as it's been for a few days now), but the sky turned greyish blue, thunder rumbled, and one big lightning flash (sheet, not forked), then heavy rain for a few holes. Took the heat/humidity down for a few holes but it came back to torch us on the home stretch.
