Played in a 4 man scramble today with my banker. We shot 59, tied for 11th place. Winning score was 48! There was a par 3 that a $300 donation got you a score if zero. There was a par 5 where a $300 donation had you sitting zero after the drive. My hosts paid for both. Without those we would have been at 62. I did beat the pros on 2 par 3's. I put both my tee shots inside of theirs! I knew we wouldn't win so I just decided to have fun and drink beer which I rarely do on the course. Fun day and the charity was for Congenital Heart defect research funding which is near a dear to my family.
On a side note, I did have one of my scariest moments ever on the golf course today. It was in our 3rd or 4th hole and what comes cruising up the tee box towards us? A fucking Badger! I didn't even know AZ had badgers! He didn't mess with us but that was a nervous tee shot with him 20 feet away!
