By my somewhat loose calculations, I’m about 3-4 weeks out from swinging a golf club….if my home therapy and workouts continue to progress as expected. I also have to stay out of the cookies to drop about 15 more pounds! Lol 🙂

Good ball striking again. Too many bogeys, tho.

Haven't played or really hit a ball in forever, but have been swinging the speed sticks and Orange Whip. I have the PRGR swing speed monitor and it's amazing how even my practice swings vary greatly. Even though I have a long backswing I rush the downswing, tend to go OTT a bit and not release the club. Seems to be better when I try to shorten the backswing and have a pause at the top. The counter balanced speed stick seems to get me going sometimes; not sure why that one frees me up. Got a few indoor sessions scheduled over this next week so that hopefully I'm not absolutely horrible on the golf trip.

83 at Silverthorn. Driver, woods and hybrids all good. Irons a little scruffy once again with the tight lies (no overseed).

Won 2 matches and lost 1. Won two greenies. Did have one birdie. Turkey sub at Subway for lunch.

Iron play should improve next Monday as we’re playing Fox Hollow and they do overseed their fairways and they look marvelous. Lol

Just the opposite. $20.00 with a coupon. It's in Spring Hill, which is a little bit of a ride for us. It was either Subway or Wendy's. lol Nice layout. If they put a little money into it (it) would be a great course.

Supposed to be mid 50's. Depends when you go out. Could be cold in the morning. Fox Hollow is in great condition. They have paspalum greens. Not as grainy as bermuda.

Sneakylong Sorry not this coming Sunday, but the 30th. Got ahead of myself! But we will be in the area Sat thru Wed so it makes sense if that's when the weather turns colder lol. Except for last year (no trip) we go the same time and the weather is great the week before we come and the week after we leave.

22° and breezy this morning. Rode by "The Grizzly" (Mason's Muni) earlier and saw 1 rider on 11. Sure didn't look dressed for it. Stupid "golfers". 🙄

I just called to pay for our upcoming golf trip and the lady said she had a tough time defrosting her car this morning.
Hopefully it's warmer Saturday, but our tee time is mid morning so if hits 50 we'll be ok.
