Gorgeous weather today allowed me to get out for nine at the local muni. At the last second I carried a putter I haven't used in several years. Not sure why I did that, but I regretted it almost immediately.
First hole drive was decent but in the right rough on a downhill lie. It's a par 5 and I was still about 220 out, so I hit a lay-up with a 3-hybrid, which I hit perfectly, exactly where I was aiming, then chipped to four feet, then promptly missed the birdie putt.
And that hybrid was the best shot I hit all day and I only managed one more par.
Oh well, at least the weather was amazing and I really enjoyed being able to spend time outside in perfect weather in the month of December.
