1st of 6 rounds in So. Cal today. Played a course called Rustic Canyon in Moorpark. Links style course that plays North and South up and down a canyon. Shot a 40 front and 45 back. Back nine included me taking an 8 on a 135yrd par 3.🤬 hit 9/13 fairways 8 GIRS, and 33 putts. Par 72 course with a 128 slope from 6400yrds.
Very fun course with big greens that have 5-15 foot aprons that are almost as smooth as the greens. Big wide fairways with no water hazards. I would call this a very true Links style course. Course conditions were excellent and the greens were fast and true with TONS of undulations. If you find yourself in the LA area I highly recommend this course.
