Rickochet I think our Amazon delivery dude gets worried about us if we don't have a package delivered each day.

9 times out of 10, our local USPS mailman delivers our amazon stuff. He hates them. He says he usually has his truck and bag packed and is ready to hit his route.... and the amazon guy shows up at the post office and he has to reload everything to get the load in the right order for delivery.

Your USPS lazy ass dude should appreciate Amazon providing income to the USPS. I guess this cuts into his nap time in his truck. I am guessing when the current shipping backlog is taken care of Amazon will gladly deliver most of their own packages and give your poor overworked USPS dude some relief. 🤣

Like @azgreg I could walk to the Amazon distribution center. Our community just got one a couple of months back. Far enough away to not be an eye sore, close enough to get things lightning fast. I'm not even sure it's up and running at full capacity.

Ordered something on eBay during the holidays and got notified it was being shipped by some weird service. Blue something or other. Was very worried, but the item showed up first thing AM the next day. Had never seen anything like it. Turns out some eBay sellers use Prime and whatever this service was to make sales. Ironcially, I looked at Amazon, and I could'vd purchased the item for about a dollar less. Not sure how that seller was planning to thrive that way but I read up and that was a new thing happening on the bay.

This is a fake transport company used by scammers to "send" items purchased in ebay. They provide a tracking information saying that your package was delivered, when in fact, that never happened.

Yeah, I went down that rabbit hole back when I saw that's who was going to be delivering my package. I was concerned about it, but I ordered the item in the evening on eBay, and it showed up next morning. Was there at 8am when I opened the door. Have no idea when it actually arrived. Could've been same night for all I know.

EDIT: Every single Amazon order I have placed arrives late afternoon, or early eve. so I don't think it was Amazon who delivered that particular package.

EDIT 2: This is what the tracking looked like. It's all fake. Had forgotten this was a Saturday night purchase, and a Sunday delivery. Look at the beginning. Says my package arrived at carrier facility before tracking was even provided. Was there long before it says it was delivered.
