I re-signed up for Prime around the holidays to ensure all the gifts I needed were delivered on-time. I've kept it due to the programming service that's like Netflix's.
Today, I was out doing a bunch of things. I stopped at a grocery store to get a soup my wife loves. Sadly, it was out of stock. Clmbed up on the aisle and had that baby rocking back and forth checking the top but couldn't find a single can. I knew she would be bummed.
Thought about Prime and wondered if they had it. Not only did they have it, but I can get it for less and I ordered up a case of 12. Best part is, it'll be here tomorrow. No having to run back to the store, risking any virus, and less expensive.
Telling my wife I didn't return with her favorite soup was immediately solved.
Man, some of these modern conveniences are fantastic. Huge fan of Prime, now.
To me, it's like paying for Netflix, and Netflix delivers things you want to your home, next-day. Netflix couldn't even do that back in the day they were mailing discs. Took weeks, sometimes, to get the movie you wanted and then a few days waiting for it in the mail. I wish Netflix did what Prime does.
