Just curious... is anyone still gaming the Nemesis, 455, O2, or any of the other OG SMT drivers? I happened to pull out the Nemesis and got to thinking, ma...

I have no modern/OEM drivers or irons and have zero intention of getting any.
My Pops has an Encore and 02 and a Bang hybrid. My bro has a 455DB.
My eldest son has a Spectrum, Bangomatic and Ashton MS-5.
My youngest son has an Ashton X-1 driver and I just gave him my X-1 fw woods.
In my gamer bag I have a 455DB and a DB+.I also have a Shinnecock, Indio, 02, another 455DB, Geek No Brainer and DCT and a Bangomatic.
I also have a SMT 3390 FW and 2 SMT Avocets in my spare bag with my Wishon irons and wedges and an Alpha LW.
I also have one of a kind Sweetheart Nemesis in my display case.

I have a 9 degree Alpha Response with the UST 65 Gold at 47.5" that was in the rotation last year. Still have my Alpha V2 425 10.5 that's in the running for the short driver spot, though I found an SMT AF460c 12 that I thought I had sold and was hitting it pretty well at the range in the cold Sunday. "Tour Swing Octane got some play last year, too. Pretty much all of my drivers are fixed hosel.

I have a gayazz blue nemesis that still hits it as far as any other club. Forgiveness isn’t near as much as my "gamer" driver.

I wanted to try that new adjustable SMT driver head but the only option was assembled only. I tried to talk them into selling me just a head but no dice.

I gamed an Indio(3 different lofts), every round, for 3 yrs. prior to last. I did still take it along a few times last year. Also have a 455 built and played some also. Have several other SMT heads that I bought here, on GB last year; 1 being a brand new Shinnecock which I plan to play this season. Never tried the newer ones, never wanted to, still don't. Only SMT head I ever played that was crap, was the Nemesis.

I still have a 12 degree 455 in Nicks bag With an Accuflex Assassin 2 in it. Regular flex. I think 45" though. As much as it hasn’t been used, and Nicks bag is the spare bag and one of the G400max drivers will go in it... I would hate to give it up. The old SMT stuff is nostalgic for me.

That new one looks very nice!! Now where are my SMT gift cards...😆
