I have a technical question for those of you who are club builder. A friend broke the shaft in his Rogue 3 wood. He asked me a pull the shaft from a Titleist 905T, an Aldila NV, and put it in the Rogue. I would normally pull the shaft from the driver, tip it the appropriate amount, install it in the 3 wood head, then butt trim to length. However there is a significant difference in the hosel depth of the two clubs. The hosel depth of the 905 is 3.5 inches and the hosel depth of the Rouge is one inch. Would I tip the shaft 2.5 inches to Rouge insertion depth and then tip trim for a three wood to maintain the same flex?
