sdandrea1 I'm selling my 2020 G Max irons because I prefer my 2008 G10 PINGS better. Same distance and control, better sound and feel. New isn't always better

You’ll be sooorrrryyyy!😁

Typhoon always did like that Rescue. Had 2 in my hands this afternoon, that were in great condition. 22°, both, one with steel, 1 with graphite. Was at my local PIAS. Sad to say, but if this lady that owns this store keeps it up, she's gonna lose the business. I've been going to this store for 25+ years and I've never seen so much golf equipment there. Over priced golf equipment. I make sure if I'm trading anything in, I go late so the kids figure prices. I traded in 2 OLD cobra DWS hybrids (1st gen) that I paid $7.50 a piece for, at this store! and they gave me $30 in trade. I walked out with, what appears to be, a fairly new shaft for my M2.

LBlack14 With the pandemic golf boom it sounds like your store and the 2 I go to are owned by the same people. Ours are crazy over priced. They wanted $200 for a set of eye2 irons.

I could never hit a hybrid and this one was unclaimed in out lost and found. 19 degree rescue mid, stock shaft midsize grip. Set up nice. I took it out beside the fist tee one day with 6 shaf bags and hit 5 perfect high draw with it. I was amazed... I’ve only snap hooked hybrids. I put it on the bag. I can kill that thing.

        sdandrea1 New isn't always better.

So true. New clubs are just different. I could easily put my Ping G15's in the bag and not miss a beat.

Typhoon I’ve only snap hooked hybrids.

I think the early hybrids were designed for the high cappers most of whom faded the ball and the heads were designed closed to offset the slice. If you didn't normally slice the ball they could be hook machines. The newer hybrids are different and many have square face angles. I have some Titleist 816H1 hybrids that are money.

This is what I have right now, most likely going to change at least once... or 10 times (woods and hybrids)...

        Ping G400 Max 9* Matrix 7Q3 Stiff (44.5")
        Tommy Armour Atomic 3W
        Adams Tight Lies 2 5W
Cobra F9 One utility iron (on probation) set to 18.5*
Cobra F7 One 5-PW Apollo standard steel S flex
Cleveland CBX 50, 54, 58 bored out to .370 w/ DTG Vivid white steel
        Felon 60*
        Heavy Putter blade

I know I have too many clubs, but I'm ok with it.

And yes, that is a ladies Adams head. My 5 year old colored the purple parts with black marker so that it's more manly 😎

Hoss7504 Uncle @sdandrea1 posted a how-to. I found a site that sold a .370 drill bit, clamped the head with a bunch of padding, and drilled down the hosel real slow with also applying a little bit of drilling oil. Worked great for me!

My work here is done. 😉

Do not use a common 3/8" twist bit. Get a proper reaming bit. A twist bit can easily get hung up and send shit flying everywhere. Plus it will not get to the bottom of the bore since it has a point on it. A reaming bit is flat on the bottom and will chew small pieces of the steel away as it goes down.
