fatshot ANOTHER set of Callys?? Whatever happened to the much-traveled X-14's that we mailed back and forth?.....did you ever hit them??

That was WEEKS ago! 😂 I shafted them up, shined them all pretty and sold them on eBay. Never hit them.

      Walterjn Had a 3 yr. old harness horse same color as that grey, almost silver. White mane/tail, beautiful filly, which is very untypical until they get much older.(grey horses) Had to sell her when she got too good, and money was too great to pass up. It had been my wife's birthday present, and I think she's still pissed. Business is business.

          Par4QC I'm sorry to hear that she is still pissed about that. I can understand about the money being too good.

              Walterjn She always loved grey horses, so I found this ratty little filly and done some, literal, horse trading for her. Had her for a couple weeks before I started her 1 Sunday afternoon. They always announce the horse owner's name during post parade and my wife's jaw dropped when they said her name. Fun times. Raced like crap that day, but eventually turned into something really good, which I could see she would. The filly bailed out a failing operation, so the wife was forgiving, to a point. Memories are still there though.

                  Par4QC my boss pulled an older mare out of a pasture. Took a little bit of work, and that mare was a good show horse and a better breeding mare. That mare was the dam for more than one good show horse for my boss. She started to have issues walking a few years ago and we did everything we could to help her heal. She was old and retired by that point, boss decided that we were losing that battle and not making that mare any better so we did the best thing we could for her. Boss had her tearful goodbye, and called me. I'm happy to report that I was the last person that mare saw, and that she was with someone she knew and trusted.
