mikeintopeka Is yours unique enough to get a patent?
I only know enough about patents to be dangerous. iirc, a 'common' device cannot be patented, meaning something just anyone could think up. But, the process to make that device could be patented, if it is a special process known only to the maker. It still would not stop someone else from making the exact same device, but they cannot make it using the process patented. Or, something like that. 😄
