Can anyone compare the Srixon 355 irons to the Bridgestone J40? Strongly considering buying one of these but not sure which one to pull the trigger on.
Thanks,
Chuck
Srixon versus Bridgestone
Srixon Z545 & Z355 irons are more for the average golfers whom needs to elevate the ball flight .
Bridgestone J40, J40 combo is for Mid handicap to professional golfers.
It really depending on what you're looking for. If you want higher ball flight, Srixon would be a better choice of the 2.
Of course we all know the properly fitted golf shaft is the key to better ball striking.
I gave the Z355's a run earlier this year. Verdict - very, very easy to hit but distance control was an issue. Not only were they at least a club to a club and half longer than what I was used to they were difficult to dial back when needed. The pitching wedge wanted to go no less than 130 no matter what I tried.
Thanks....I appreciate the info. Will probably settle on the Srixon. Don't think that no matter how hard I swing that I could make a PW go 130 yards.....more like 105. Now you know why I play the Senior tees!!!
What did surprise me was that Srixon does not make a wedge higher than AW. maybe SW but definitely no LW.
