scotts33 agreed completely. At one time, I used the Humps exclusively in my irons, they were great.
I’m not trying to stir anything up, but I did have my last set, where the tips bent severely and immediately. It’s been one of those things with that shaft, they aren’t ones I would buy used because you often found one or two with a slight tip bend. The last set I had was so bad I could easily notice it while in the heads, the whole set didn’t last a round. I wish I still had the pictures to show, but I hit one of the mid irons and it felt weird, looked down and the head was bent back 10 degrees. I sent them back to Value Golf/Apollo for a refund and let them check them for QC, that was the end for me. I swing hard, but the set literally didn’t make it through a round. I had pulled other sets apart and found a couple degrees of deflection in a handful of them, I loved the performance and price so I had made it a standard to just check my set’s occasionally and replace any of them that had gotten out of spec. It wasn’t great, but I kept my expectations for a cheap shaft with my swing speed in check.
Ramble off, I’d assume they got this under control, but it’s worth keeping an eye on.
