Par4QC - I bought a Nissan Altima 2 1/2 years ago brand new from a dealer. The price out the door was several thousand lower than those buying service available via Sam's Club and Costco and it was 'haggle-free'.
The car is a joy to drive as I bought one loaded with options 'for my driving pleasure'. The stereo and driver information available on the obc is awesome. It's still a pleasure to drive after all the elapsed miles.
And I haven't had a bit of trouble with it...oil changes and tire rotations every 5k. It's about to hit the 36,000-mile wall to wall warranty expiration so I nitpicked some items to discuss with the dealer on my last oil change. Everything was fine but he gave me some tips on how to access features I wasn't using yet.
I can get 2 sets of clubs AND two pushcarts in my spacious trunk. The 38 mpg highway is mileage results I can live with.
