SWMBO and I both fell for the Peter Kessler hype a few decades ago and bought The Perfect Club. The original 21 degree club turned out to be an excellent hybrid/FW escape club and she still carries one, while I own several and usually have the 21 in my bag. I usually had a bit of trouble launching it high, but the damn thing went so straight it didn't matter. It was excellent out of the sand and I could even bump and run with it.
It's done and gone! Enter the Moon Wood 8. SWMBO got me one for Christmas and I now have 3 rounds with it. It might look like a gimmick club, but it's MONEY! Short shafted, heavy soled slightly offset fairway. It saved my bacon after a few bad drives and it's awesome for short par 4s. Get one!
