Yes, it’s on my own time from home. I don’t do anything elaborate but what I do comes out looking nice and is done right or I don’t bother with it. I do it as a favor, not a job. He doesn’t have posted rates, insurance or tell people we do club repair because it’s more done as a favor. He does regripping.
Most of the broken stuff is his that either his kid hits, or like today, he’s giving a lesson , gives the guy his own driver and the guy breaks it. Now I know he’s not charging the guy for it...
I feel guilty when he gives me money for repairs and when he asks what he owes me I’d like to have some idea of what to charge. Thank you for the replies, it now gives me a few ideas on what to charge for what.
