CallMeAl A friend of mine wants to get into club repair. I told him I'd help him out. We're in need of a decent shaft puller (Not Hydraulic) for him to start with. Let's say under $100. Anyone have something available? Thanks
JM1956 CallMeAl After he uses a screw puller he'll wish he bought the hydraulic. There is no comparison.
Rickochet Why not a hydraulic puller? Here is one on ebay for $119. Nothing can be more frustrating to a novice clubmaker than using a weak shaft puller. They will ending ruining lots of driver heads and spend more than getting a good shaft puller from the beginning. Also make sure they use the right shafting epoxy with a reasonable release temperature. https://www.ebay.com/itm/GOLF-CLUB-SHAFT-PULLER-EXTRACTOR-FOR-STEEL-GRAPHITE-SHAFTS/124202313270?hash=item1ceb08e636:g:S0IAAOSwy0VfRcLV
LBlack14 CallMeAl No hydraulic per his request Maybe you should talk some sense into them. Just sayin'.
JoeHatesSnow I've used the vise held extractor with ratchet from Golfworks for some time now. It's always worked perfectly for me.
accufitgolf For a home hobbyist, the below if fine: https://www.golfworks.com/value-shaft-extractor/p/gw1112/?country=US?zmam=56863482&zmas=1&zmac=2&zmap=GW1112&msclkid=cf745b8928d31542730504396f668004&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=NB_PLA_AllProducts_BING&utm_term=4577679225338393&utm_content=Ad%20group%20%231
