We wore jeans at TPC Deere Run. No one said anything, but it was almost winter(Thanksgiving Day, in fact) and we were the only ones on the course.

Par4QC not private? Those ain't bad! We have a shitload of walkers. I wouldn't walk that place, even if I was young again. Cart path only is even worse.

LBlack14 Always been open to public. This is the first time I ever seen those 'local' rates on their site. I might have gone a few times, had I known that, but only on really dry, sunny days. Rates are with carts; to my knowledge, they've never allowed walkers, unless it was someone like John(Typhoon). This place got some long walks from green to next tee. Real long.

I bought some Greg Norman shorts to play out there, before I trashed my knee, otherwise, all Walmart and thrift store cargos here. I doubt I have a "golf" collared shirt I've spent more than $10 for. Most of the shirts I have are "George" from Walmart, on clearance. Hell, Hammer sent me several @ $3 per, plus shipping. 😁

My first set, 1965, paid with monies from cutting lawns and collection soda bottles was a Sear Signature Set. Driver, 3wd, 3,5,7,9 irons and a putter, It came with a red vinyl bag with black trim, 3 balls and a few tees. Cost $34.89.
