sdandrea1 Our Birdie is not well. Won't eat. Lethargic. We're in the diagnosis stage. Doc suspects liver shunt or liver failure of some sort. Pancreatitis is still in play. She's only 6. Not sure I want to go through this again. I'll update as it unfolds.
colej sdandrea1 best wishes Steve. We went through this a while back with our Lucy. The vet thinks she gotta hold of something that was poisonous and her liver numbers went through the roof. They treated her and it never came back. Hoping for a great outcome for you all as well.
LBlack14 Damn Unc, I'm so sorry to hear this. Roscoe had Pancreatitis back in '18. Spent a few nights in the hospital, but came out with flying colors. Nothing but the best to Birdie and her family.
sdandrea1 Thanks guys. Liver test came back ok. Doc is baffled. It's been going on for several weeks but declining to the point where she has stopped eating and won't get out of her bed. Next step might be overnight stay on a saline IV and internal cameras.
Weirfan sdandrea1 seems too obvious but a neighbour's dog had something similar happen to their dog and turns out there was a mass in back upper part the dog's mouth that was causing pain so it stopped eating. hopefully your vet can find the problem
