What he’s saying is sensible in the same fashion as the lower compression ball will allow for more energy transfer at slower swing speeds. What I question is the general science behind it all, but that’s another debate all together. I suppose in a lab test there may be a higher COR at certain speeds and if that’s the case, take advantage of you can. There has certainly been a trend to thin faces, so I presume there’s something to it.
I’d like to try one of their drivers, but I’m not paying what he’s asking for just the head, it’s asinine. If he can get it, more power to him, but I wouldn’t consider it for more than $200. When I could play in the LD arena, maybe I would have considered paying more if I could really buy the idea it would get me more distance.
At this point, I doubt very much there is a noticeable difference between virtually anything on the market for the last 10 years outside of looks, feel and perhaps marginal forgiveness improvement. If Krank wants to send me a comparable driver to go up against my G30LST with a HZRDS black in X flex for a review from a decent golfer between 115-120mph depending on back stiffness, I’ll write a detailed comparison for you all 😂.
