Years ago I had a TM rescue mid 19 degree with a nice Aldila NV something 100 gram shaft. Hit it like Shit... like every other hybrid. I let one of the old guys use it I used to play with.
Long story short, he loved it, I had him keep it in his bag, he died, they buried him with that club his driver and putter.
So last week the same old club with just the stock TM stiff shaft comes into lost and found. Last night I grabbed 6 balls from the proshop, threw them down on the ground and striped every one of them. I have been hitting the ball better this year but Hybrids are always an awful hook machine. This thing... crappy old stock shaft and I hit it like it was supposed to be hit, I’ve never hit one good shot let alone 6 in a row with a hybrid. It’s all banged up, price stickers still on the shaft... another week or so and it’s mine.
