Fan Cutouts at sporting events

Man some of those cardboard cutouts can get a little pricey depending on team/sport etc.
Anywhere from about $50 for some college FB games to $149-299 for the Dodgers (season) to a
$500 donation for a Red Sox Green Monster place with a chance to win some prizes.
Whereas the NBA virtual fans are FREE....the NBA has pretty much done everything right!

I think all sports are down in viewership,but the NBA did beat the NHL pretty soundly
in tv viewership.

I think the NBA finals would've done a little better had it been a Lakers/Celtics matchup.

Just in case others don't know who Front Row Amy is Don. I met her last year a very fetching lass and from Oshkosh. Season ticket holder and drives 90 mins. back and forth to every Brewer home game before Covid.

As opposed to Mr. Baseball in the front row. 😁

darpar - I agree with you on that. LA/SoCal and Utah is the 2nd largest tv market in the US and the Celtics would have drawn a lot more viewers being the 8th largest market. But a 45% drop in year over year is concerning. NFL football has had only a 2% drop which surprised me as I thought it too would be higher.

NBA, NFL and MLB can all go suck putty balls...Haven't watched any since they have begun their political messaging on the company time and dime...So much extra time on Sunday to do something that it is amazing...

I believe most organizations donated the money generated by the cutouts to charity. I'm OK with that.
