I hate to admit it, but I tried my buddy's Cobra offset driver and I hit that thing scary good. Tempted to go looking for one.

I hit my wife's 14 degree offset Snake Bite ULaunch (a DTG Cobra SZ460 clone) well. Except for the more than occasional huge duck hook.

Today I hit several on the toe. I got a traditional gear effect push draw out of them. So that’s fine.

This driver has more poon than I ever imagined holding in my hands. Your mileage will vary. That is all.

DonM If you go to the MGS reports and look at the charts that show the COG left-right on the face, you'll be able to identify the fade biased ones. The ones that have the COG towards the toe.

DonM Oh wow, I had not seen that. I've been considering trying a draw biased driver to straighten my power fade. And there I see my Tommy Armour Atomic is already one of the most draw biased. I cannot hit anything but a fade with the Atomic (or any other driver for that matter). I guess I need to find a draw biased shaft. Does anyone make a draw biased ferrule?

I was looking at TM's page for the M4 D Type. They say they used the top line paint to make it appear open, so that people will close it. That's great as far as I'm concerned. I looked at the regular and the D side by side and it is very subtle. The paint edge at the toe is higher up on the D. Hell I should remove a little paint on the regular one and see what happens, LOL!

I used to think about putting a pinstripe on the front edge of a driver crown to do the same thing.
