IMHO....the answer is probably not. I've hit several different M - draw series, mostly they just
soften the natural fade bias of the standard M's. They work, but not as well as the PING SFT's IMO.

Yup. The Ping SFT line works great! Like I said a while back, the rep told me the SFT was the secret weapon.

I'm addicted to the MyGolfSpy driver COG reports that come out every year. TM has moved the COG to different places with every new release, so one year's won't be the same as the next. The M4 COG is back and high, which is unique, and MGS says it's not for most people. I would say the M4 is extremely neutral, and my swing is a fade swing that I've been covering up with my prior drivers.

The SIM is supposed to be fade biased, from player reports.

If you go to the MGS reports and look at the charts that show the COG left-right on the face, you'll be able to identify the fade biased ones. The ones that have the COG towards the toe.

Play a square face angle and adjust? Kinda makes sense to me but I am old school. 😀

scotts33 Yeah, me too. Maybe we are playing courses that are just too easy; not enough 'trouble' areas to go around. OTOH, I'd rather not take the chance that I 'might' curve the ball enough to get past them. I'd rather just hit it straight past, and know the ball will keep going forward(for the most part) and not continue that curve once it hits the ground running. Not much good to hit around a woods if the ball continues to roll into them after landing. But, that's just me, I guess. 😄

Speaking of MGS, I do like their testing, but every time they ask the question of what testing we want to see, I always reply with fade/draw biased weighting and how much weight it takes to see results through the various handicap ranges. 😏

I played 18 with the draw driver. My friends were pretty surprised to see straight balls. I'm 95% sure it goes farther. It was cold and breezy so I need more experience to be sure. The one thing I didn't like is that it takes me back to a two way miss.

With the normal (let's say fade) driver, if I missed left it was just a bit of a pull. Almost never turning left. Now I'll play with the adapter setting and see if I can get a little more out of the draw one. I need to figure out the start line and the misses It will be in the bag unless/until it gets me into trouble too often.

Having continued success hitting fairly straight but with misses to each side. Not enough toe hits yet to know what happens with them. The bottom line is that the weighting does work as advertised.

I know one thing......offset, closed-face drivers work well for me. The heel-weighted approach, not so good.

Wasn’t the Cobra driver you had like that? I just can’t look down at that off the tee. It’s amazing that something like that and an Epic Flash both look good to you. They are such polar opposites look-wise

Cobra, Tour Edge have nice offset. It's a confidence inspiring look at address for me. Started with Eye 2 irons......that offset "cradles" the ball. With the Epic Flash or any straight hosel driver, I have to close the face with my grip AND dial in the draw settings on the adapter. With offset drivers, I just swing away.

Being a long time Eye2 guy, I can handle offset in irons. I agree on the “cradling”. I just can’t do it with a driver.
