I expected that. I do have an extra 7 iron I might just pull that shaft and weigh the head. I was hoping someone else would have done this during a reshaft but coming up empty.

Right. In organizations like the ICG others clubmakers have that info. and share but in situations like this it's harder to get information.

Rick, my Rogue 7i head is 268 gr.. Loft is 30 *. The Rogue X 7i is supposed to be 27 *, not 25 *.

I think it will be in the normal 7i weight range, just going by the lengths they are using.

Well it didn't' go well at all. I thought the R flex might be ok but they felt stiffer than an S flex. And I just don't think a 60g iron shaft is good for me. I had a shank-a-thon with these. 10 ft. left of a par three and it took me 5 shots to get on the green. Easy two putt for a seven. Probably not a fair test for the Rogue X but these did not have the magic in them that I expected. On a positive note I played the Snell ball today and had a very noticeable distance increase off of the tee.

Yes, Scott. I bought a doz. on your comments. I am very pleased. Even my buds asked about them as my driving distance was noticeably longer. Have you tried these from Snell?

MTB-X yes. I went off the MGS ball report and believe they hit it spot on.

Sorry to hear your initial report on the Cally irons. I find the same and play better with 95g steel better than lighter graphite.

They are also very popular and getting difficult to find. The yellow MTB-X are out everywhere. Any reports on their two piece ball the Get Sum?

A bit disappointed in the Callys and would have like to have tried them with the FST shafts but a bit too expensive to have that not work out either. Going to reshaft the Adrenalines with FST 115 Sr. flex today and try them Monday. It's funny how I keep gravitating back to my oldest two sets of irons, the Acers and the Adrenalines.

Nope I would not use the GetSum myself but if you have read the MGS ball report from 2019 any lower compression ball is a slow ball which after testing I believe and club head speed (lower or higher) has nothing to do with playing lower compression.
