FST 115 S/X question

The stepped shaft, is it high launching/ soft tip?
The DSFI says it is. The A/R is for me.

Part of my long term quest to find the new Dynalite; Stiff in the upper half, soft in the lower.

IMO the FST Pro's non-stepped are higher launching and softer than the stepped OG FST in any flex in general terms. The good thing about FST is quality is high and it won't break the bank to do some test shafts.

What about the Newer Dynalite XP - Rockbottom has them and they are 15% off today, I believe.

If you can find the Dynalite 109 (dtg had a bunch of em), 105 (What nike used in some if their irons) in that might worth a shot (more like ~ 118g uncut)......same shaft as the Maltby Score, which goes on sale once and a while for about the same price as the FST 115.

So the Score is the same as those Dynalites? It has an odd step pattern, I guess they must have had that too. I haven't seen them. I should try one, I don't know if they are stiff CPM wise like the Dynalite was.

Thanks. I tried that one, actually have a dozen on hand. But it was not what I was hoping for. Maybe if I had tried them trimmed stiff flex. I'll have to try one again.

DonM I know this is sacrilegious, but try the taper shafts in the Parallel irons?

I have used the FST S/X for so many builds and have played them myself for years. I find that when trimmed to S flex they have a mid to high ball flight and play to what I would call a firm flex compared to TT Dynamic Golds. TT Stiffs are too much for me and the TT R isn't enough.
