Eguller I, for one, do not see/get any performance diff of urethane vs. any other type cover.
In all the years I've played, and with all the people I've golfed with, I've cannot recall seeing any of them 'back a ball up' on the greens, of any course, esp. on a regular basis or when they want to; typically, it's been purely accidental, if it happened. And I have played with some really good golfers. Then again, what diff does it really make for most amateur golfers that cannot even break 90, on a good day? But they just 'have' to use urethane, lol.
BTW, that TR ball I found has the softest, stickiest cover of any ball I've handled. Yet, it flew, and rolled well on the greens.
