Typhoon I don't normally credit the ball either. But I've mostly been playing Chromesoft and Z-Star for the past year or more, and I injected a few leftover TP5 balls into some rounds a few months ago. I noticed on a couple of dogleg holes where I needed a great drive with the other two balls to reach the middle of the dogleg that I was hitting the TP5 through the doglegs. After that, I alternated the TP5 with the Z-Star during a few rounds so the conditions would be the same and my longest drives almost always came with the TP5. And before that, the Z-Star and Chromesoft were marginally my longest balls. Now I only have a swing speed that yields 220 - 230 yard drives these days, and I don't spin the ball much either, so it may just be that the TP5 maximizes both of those - I don't know. It doesn't make a difference in my crappy scores, but I do get a fairly distinct increase in distance off the driver. Not nearly so noticeable off the irons.
