What Are Your Favoritie New Generation Wedges?

I have some Cally Rogue X irons inbound and the G wedge is 51°. I usually like my clubs to have the matching wedges but I can't find a Rogue X Sand wedge. I don't have much in the closet to go with the set and looking for something in the 55, 56° range, preferably over size and not over 300g headweight. What are your current wedge likes?

I like the Callaway PM grind wedges. They’re like cheatin’... especially the 60 degree out of sand. A little funky looking but you get past that quick.

I’ve always been a fan of Callaway wedges all the way back to the x forged from 2007 ( which I still have and work great). Roger Cleveland does nice work for. Callaway. The new Jaws wedges are beautiful.

if your looking for something inexpensive, believe it or not the Bombtech wedges are pretty nice.

I really like my Maltby M Series wedges. Lots of options on the bounce profile. I need low bounce and these provide me with the best options. They are Also indistructable with the DBM finish.😁

It’s not compact... but it’s not like you look down at it say, “ woah... that’s fuckin big”. I guess the best way to describe it is the same size and shape as the Eye2 wedges. Steve can maybe concur since he had a pm grind himself for a week.

The Cally wedges are nice. I just replaced an MD3 with the new Jaws 60* Wide sole/low bounce and maybe it's just having new grooves, but it's really nice. I'll probably replace my GW and SW with the Jaws soon.

Perfect description. Modernized Eye 2 SW. I have one of the new Glide Eye 2 and it is just fine... 😀

Once I got over the rounded leading edge the Acer XBs are the best wedges I've played.

I agree. These wedges are great. I have the 56 and 50 and they are really good. The rounded edge doesn't bother me at all. Solid wedges with nice spin.

I tried several different lofts of the XB's and I could never get over the rounded leading edge. I was, however, able to get over Macho Grande. 😁
