Well, happy for my kids for their team to win it all. I don't watch baseball, but I know how to play, and some decisions made last night were questionable, in my mind and others. Chapman should never have been in the game; not for even 1 pitch, and after a couple throws he looked as if he wanted taken out. Hendricks was good for at least a couple more innings, and I surely thought Lackey would have been the closer, not completely left out of the game. Cubs got lucky from the fact Cleveland's bullpen was worse than their own, and they were terrible!
The umpire crew made calls as 1 unit, game to game. They surely were trained to make the calls as the rest of the crew would make them.......with a dominant left eye, for both teams!
Baez and Bryant both need 48" bats, if they are going to swing at pitches 12" outside the plate.
Young + nerves= what we witnessed last night. They'll be better next time. Some of them (probably) not as Cubs though. The lockbox will have to be opened now.
1st highlight was seeing Ross get into the 7th game.
Biggest highlight of the whole Series was Ross getting the homer. What a way to go out!
