Well, my fling with Hogans was short. Once again Steelfibers and me do not get along. The Hogans were sold, and the STi2s went back in the bag for a round today. Front nine was stellar (-2) thanks to a hot Sub 70 putter. But on the back 9 I had a complete iron/wedge failure. Somehow I was still -2 thru 14. Perfect drives on 15 and 16, and iron play coughed up doubles on both of them. Disappointing.
With four sets of graphite iron shafts in the garage, time to look for new heads.
