Mattyv I had a bunch of Pioneer stuff, my uncle worked for them. I still have and use the receiver from 1986. Had some nice Boston Acoustics A70 speakers with them. Moves those speakers downstairs and had a cool double sub Cambridge Soundworks set up. My BIL worked at Bose so I sold the A70 and replaced them with Bose 501 he gave me.
Wife of course hated it all, hates bass… thing is she’s deaf as a Haddock but I have to suffer with her sound set ups. Right now I have a Yamaha Soundbar and sub setup in the living room. All she did was bitch about the sub… I’d turn it off and she’s bitch about it🙄… so there…🙄. Then I told her I unplugged it so she started complaining about the sound bar. Got sick of listening to her and unplugged that too. The shit assed Samsung TV sound is what we have now.
