Perhaps we cannot relate wholly to what you experience, but you are so wrong thinking it does not negatively impact the lives of all of us.
You have only 'read into' posts/statements what it is you want to see/read. You are 1 sided blind, as I've stated before. We, on the other hand, are not. Hell, Steve is a Federal mediator in case you didn't realize that.
Do you really think we like seeing people gunned down on TV, and yes, there is no doubt due to color, most times?
Do you really think we liked seeing what we saw on TV on that 1/6?
But....things are way out of hand due to the way you and others are going about trying to 'demand' things that will still take years to reconcile. Maybe not that long, if 'requested'. People, in case you haven't paid attention in just this small forum at all, do not like demands, they do not like constant disruptions, they do not like the name calling and bigotry coming at them, any more than you do. And make no mistake, you are doing it, more so than others.
You push, you get pushed back. 2 way streets out there, not all just 1 ways. Wise up, drive better, share the road. You may find less obstacles.
All lives are impacted by the negativity. And that is coming from both sides of the aisle. But the past few years, it is getting a little unbalanced. 300-500 years are not going to be corrected overnight. It probably will not be corrected in our lifetime, unfortunately for ALL of us.
And I could tell you some stories about the small town/farming community I grew up in/around. But like I have said many times, I was raised 1 way, I learned another. I lived there for 21 years, I've lived here for 50.
You could not be more sadly mistaken with your 'profiling' of people you've never met.
BTW, I have a multi-racial great grandson with severe brain damage at birth.
I also have a gay niece.
And when I see them, I see a little boy and a fine young Doctor!!
