johnnydoom Yeah, 60 may not be the right age. When my dad was remote to Greenland and then many summers at my Grandmother's house upstate NY, we had one. But the house was old, no bath/shower for example. We used honey buckets upstairs, plus the real outhouse was required, especially with 6 kids and a single bathroom that only had a toilet. Other than that, never saw one.
Maybe a rural thing-- back in the day.
