johnnydoom meagain Helped others do it twice. One knew what he was doing and I just helped push, the other didn't know that she could do it so I helped her out. I've had 4 cars with manual transmissions and thus far the only time I've had batteries die in them were in situations where I had a source for a new battery within walking distance or someone could give me a ride to get one and didn't really need to push start or jump them. We'll see how it goes with my little iM. It's so small I could probably do it by myself even as my age is advancing.
Rickochet Walterjn Done that many times. When possible reverse is the best option, best gear ratio. I did it many times years ago. I always heard 2nd gear was best to use.
