The holes should be vertical. The block will hold much more weight that way. In a former life I sold and set-up mobile homes and this was one of the first things I was taught.
Par4QC mulegolf Better get your cheater glasses on, and look again. No concrete blocks in that pic. That thing weighs more than 20 mobile homes(maybe 40) and would crush blocks, no matter how they were laid.😉
