Let's discuss your favs for the year (does not necessarily have to be produced this year, just new to you)-
Maltby STw driver-ugly as all hell, but super forgiving, solid feeling, a really good driver.
Wishon DIH driving irons, ball comes off the face hot....paired with the s2 black hybrid and you have a great set up...hard to explain how hot these do feel, these are the clear winner for 2016....never, ever would have thought I'd be playing a 2 and 3 driving iron.
Wishon 919 F/D....deep face mini, easy to hit and a really nice option off the tee
Dynacraft Prophet CB irons....fantastic, hot, forgiving, but not bendable and I need
Maltby STi irons....sgi without much offset at all, killed leading edge, these are super forgiving, right there with the prophet cb's, feel is kinda blah on these but these are a sleeper imo, very much resemble a ping g, less the stupid amount of offset.
Wishon 979ss irons, the cleanest sgi irons I've played....out of the three I'be mentioned these are the best by a nose, they all have a wide , the STi let so in the long and mid irons and with the killed leading edge the appear to have a slightly narrower sole then the others, but I'd still say moderate to moderate wide....and the prophet CB and 919ss being close and more consistent across the board from long, middle to short iron for sole width. I just like the easier adjustability, the thinner topline, and looking down they hide the sgi look quite a bit, and these are the lowest offset by a smidge when you take into consideration the whole set.
Taylor made TPX ball....the best ball ever, long off the tee and good spin on approach shots, consistent and behaves well across the bag, predictable.
