Check out Frogg Togg's hats and those from Outdoor Research. I have 2 from OR and 1 Frogg Togg's and they are decent with a wide enough brim to block the sun but not so wide that you look like the Flying Nun. I think I like the Frogg Togg's one the best because it's so light weight. I got them from Amazon. They're not $9.99 but they aren't expensive either.
