My wife ordered a bunch of stuff on sale ($45.00 worth) from Bath and Body Works. It was sent UPS and then the USPS delivered it. We never got the package. They said it was delivered on 1-9.

My guess is it was delivered to the wrong address. We don't really have a problem with porch pirates because we have landscaping blocking the view. The front entrance has a screen enclosed vestibule that they leave packages in.

Most people who get something that is delivered to them by mistake will return it to the post office or bring it to the correct address themselves. That's what we do. Oh well, she's out $45.00.

    sdandrea1 .....and it's YOUR fault. 😂

She actually blames herself. She got the delivery notice, but didn't look at it until much later.

Sneakylong UPS attaches a pic of the delivery on tracking. Shows exactly where they placed it, and condition of package. It does not show the address on the house though.

Par4QC We got a delivery notice like that once with a photo and recognized our neighbor's porch. The neighbors weren't home at the time and we waited until the next day to get the package because I didn't want to take the chance that there might be video of me taking something off of their porch.🙂 I waited until they got home and then went and asked if I could retrieve my package.

johnnydoom Happened to us also. Tracking showed as delivered, but not here. We immediately called UPS and within an hour they brought it to us.

So even though the Post Office delivered it they take a picture of the delivery for UPS?

I have never gotten a pic from a UPS delivery. I do get pics on Amazon deliveries. I had one mis-delivered and I drove down the street and identified the house by the pic.

Rickochet When you check tracking, and it shows 'delivered', it also will say ..."proof of delivery". Click on that and it will tell exactly where it was put and will have a place to click on that is a pic of the package. You then have to enter the tracking # for pic to open.
I've never checked it on packages delivered to me, just the ones I shipped. So....

          9 days later

LBlack14 Still there but not the big distinction I always thought it had. Now 1 oz letter/postcard that arrives sometime. Max weight is actually 3.5oz Price increase recently, now $.68

Bravopilot I went to Mason post office yesterday, which I've been able to avoid for a few years because of the dumb f****** c**** that work there. I wanted to mail a ferrule to birdsboro, 1st class and the bitch told me there wasn't any 1st class mail anymore??? $5+ to mail a ferrule??

LBlack14 Not good, from USPS website states otherwise. Not sure people use the term.

              https://www.usps.com/ship/first-class-mail.htm

In my branch (Chantilly, VA) to date folks there have been helpful--recently extended my Hold Mail past 30 days and picked up the mail they delivered, although hard to not notice nearly all are of Asian descent

LBlack14 I don't see this?? No more First Class packages but there are for letters/postcards. Ground Advantage replaced the package, First Class, Expected the ferrules to be in an envelope, not package

Paul ( Cutter66) shipped me a driver head via USPS from Colorado on January 24 and it arrived at my door up here in Canada on Feb 1. ....not shabby at all
