garyt1957 I do all the time, and tend to look at the yardage on the card and stick to that vs. where the tee markers are, which tend to be up if there is a discrepancy. Recently played a course with six par 3,s and five par 5,s and some of the par 5 tees were at 410-430😏. Had to move back to the tips on those holes. Played a combo of 3 tee boxes on that course to get it close to the yardage on the card, and at times will tee off where the metal marker is (no tee markers) if need be!
Agreed it would be nice for all as it gives more options and there are many courses that have big jumps from markers.
