colej I asked them to recommend a fairway shaft based on the velocity driver shaft and they said the ballistic. The launch is more counter balanced.

With the Ping G400max head, the Ping stock shafts were all counterbalanced. They didn’t say anything to me about that when I got the VMT. I wonder if they will now that I asked about the Ballistic and Launch. I thought you had the Ballistic in the Maltby because you said it felt nothing like the VMT. It’s weird, I would have thought the Launch felt more like the BMT than the Ballistic but the site does say the Launch was better for late release

Paderson got back to me. Again, very nice
people. They actually saw how my first email wasn’t getting to them and apologized. It did have something to do with the 5 different emails they have to send to.

They suggested the Ballistic TP shaft for me in D30 stiff flex. They told me not to think it’s too week and to butt cut. They recommend playing it as a Gamer at 46.5”. My HOF shafts are 46” and I was planning on my other VMT playing at 46.5” as a gamer anyway.

I just looked it up on their site and sure enough, the speed range is perfect for stiff. I never looked at the TP. Hard kicking too....👍

End of last week we got our new GC2 Quad at indoor golf. Awesome device with tons of info. I can’t wait to take it outside next year.

I just put a Paderson Velocity pull I picked up to put in my Ping G400max at playing length. The way it played and felt at full length... I couldn’t wait to get one at playing length to see how it fared against my gamers, the HOF Express and HOF Black Diamond. I took the loft down to 10 degrees and hit both HOF shafts the same. Total distance was 293-296. A bit higher Launch and spin on the Black Diamond. I then hit ONE ball with the Paderson... good God, the feel... looked like a little higher flight and dead straight. Total distance 308. I put it away after that. I was almost afraid to lean on it after hitting that one so well.... it felt so good I just put it away.

what flex was the pull you picked up?

D30+... same as the other ones I have. I actually want to try a d20.

Yes Ode the higher the number the stiffer they are. The shaft is so solid though, I have a couple LD friends who swear by the senior flex D20.

Either of you have any info on the budget Paderson shafts that GW offers the TS series?

I see them on eBay but I think they are new and the same price as Golfsmith. Don’t worry about going too soft with these shafts, actually think they work better that way!

I’ve never hit that particular driver shaft I have hit the fairway, hybrid, and wedge shaft. All really solid offerings. Gonna feel a bit stiffer than the VMT velocity though.

Of the hundreds of shafts I have hit, NOTHING feels like the Velocity. I love my HOF shafts but this thing might put them on the endangered list as far as “ Gamer Shafts” go.

When I asked Paderson what els would be good for me they suggested the new Ballistic TP in D30. I’m looking at the normal Ballistic in D30 or D20...or like I mentioned before, a Velocity D20.

I can’t remember what I tried the Ballistic TP in, might’ve been a fairway but could’ve been the driver. I didn’t like the feel near as much as the velocity. The fairway shaft I got feels very similar to the velocity.

Right, I think you got the TP and I was wondering why. You said at the time it felt nothing like the Velocity. I could probably do the “Launch” without any trouble with spin.

We just got a GC2 Quad and my spin was 1750, launch angle of 15, AOA was 5.8 . Love those numbers!

Typhoon The last club from that outfit was 3 years ago from a mass buy that was from an Edwin Watts fire. I got a 20 degree adams 9031 hybrid and a really nice stand bag both for $15 and $20 respectively.

Typhoon Who ended up with that Loco driver? That was surprisingly good. I don't know how long those heads lasted.

The shafts really aren’t a lot of money. Even more so when I see how they work. I’m out of work, collecting unemployment...being a detriment to society. Try eating Flank steak for week !
