I still have a DTG Felon wedge laying around. Never used it. It looks like it would rip the cover off a ball lol. I have a SMT Durometer wedge that I used a handful of times. That wedge really does spin the ball, but it needed a sole grind and I never bothered to do that. I always liked the Wishon PCF Micro Tour wedges. I thought they checked short shots up better than most. I've had Cally MD3 wedges for a few years now and they work well, but the Wishon was better. I did just swap in a new MD5 lob and that seems to have a lot more bit to it than the MD3, but maybe just because it's new.

KCee I agree with Kev, I used to make well struck balls dance on the greens with those Wishons PCF Micro Tour wedges. Only problem was my steep AoA, so I rock CLV CBXs now. Much better for my Chunky Monkey swing. 😃

I just tried a ProV1X and it spins more than the Q Star Tour and B-RX I have been playing. Very noticeable. So that's another way I can get more spin. I have a couple dozen Z Stars that I just bought on the 2 for 1 sale. But they fly lower, and I want height. So I made the wrong buy. I should have bought the XV flavor.

The ProV1X flies nice and high.

I've been playing an Acer XB D Grind wedge for about four rounds now and I find it fantastic around the greens. I can hit a 50-60 yard chip and the ball hops once and stops right by the hole. I'm a pretty crappy wedge player but this wedge has so far made me a good wedge player. It delivers nice spin but not too much so I don't have to worry about it spinning off the green. Hard to beat for the price IMO.

I play one of these in a 51° PureFit Id Raw and it will shred any ball.
