Northeast PA enjoyed a relatively nice fall weekend. We had frost overnight Friday night, 40-minute frost delay Saturday morning, the second frost delay we've had this fall. The high temps were mid-60's and it was sunny, so despite the first hour or so being pretty cold - I still wore shorts. Sunday (today) was much warmer, but a bit more cloud cover too. No frost last night, and the highs today got to the low-70's.
A warming trend continues into the early part of this coming week, with daytime highs in the low-mid 80's forecasted for Tuesday and Wednesday. But the warm spell will gradually end, as the normal seasonal temps return toward the end of the week.
The fall foliage is beautiful... I just hate that winter is almost upon us already. 🙁
