I play a set of Pinhawk irons, and I have the 4-5 hybrids and I absolutely LOVE them. They were very awkward at first, especially since I have them made at 8-iron length & weight so they're several inches shorter than traditional hybrids would be. At first there is a huge mental block because you want to naturally stand further away from the ball, put the ball a little forward in your stance, and swing with a flatter plane. But as soon as you overcome through sheer repetition at the range, making sure you always set up with it and swing it just like a 7-iron, the results are outstanding! I hit a traditional 4-iron 200 yards maybe 1 out of 5 times when I hit it well, the rest of the time it can be anywhere from 150-200 depending on the swing. With the #4 hybrid I'm 195-200 yards on EVERY SINGLE SHOT. The consistency is mind boggling.
