Club Championship report with the new clubs. Success!
Won Low Net in my flight, but I should have won it outright. I had the lead going into 17, then proceeded to take an 8. Still only lost by 2 strokes after that quad. The skin money eased my pain though. Saturday with a birdie on 16, then yesterday with birdies on 4 and 15. The skins were only within the flight so the payout wasn't huge - I still managed to clear $165 in skins on the weekend though 😃
Now the humbling part - last year I won low net as well. Difference is... it was B flight last year, this year I was C flight. My handicap is still too high 😓
The shafts do give me the ball flight I was hoping for. I'm wondering if I should have soft-stepped them though. Even though they measured about the same as the ProjectX, they are more shaft. Giving them a few more weeks before I buy another shaft and shuffle them all.
